Welcome to graceackerman.net. Glad you could drop in. I'm a New England based singer/songwriter, whose songs range from humorous to blues, and from factual to fanciful.

The music of others figures prominently in my repertoire as well. I enjoy 1920s country and Piedmont blues, and a variety of folk music/Americana. Geoff Bartley, Dave Carter, Tom Russell, Kate Campbell and Chris Smither are some of my contemporary favorites.

I also teach beginning fingerstyle guitar, enjoying both my students enthusiasm and the songs they choose to learn.
